His wife Maya - a former dressage rider - often goes
for a ride through the forest, mainly with Tinka’s Boy
and Granie V. With her the horses can relax perfectly.
She also takes care of the three cats and two dogs of
the family. The two sons didn't want to take up a riding
career. Philippe, born 1981, is a student and wants to
become a lawyer. He likes climbing, playing tennis and
golf. His younger brother Patrice, born 1987, still
goes to school. He also likes sport, but is more into
basketball, snowboarding and mountainbiking.
